Cutting Edge Landscaping is currently looking to fill landscape construction foreman positions to help bring our diverse projects into reality.
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure project schedules and timelines are met
- Maintain high-quality workmanship, minimizing deficiencies and rework
- Communicate with the Site Superintendent regarding progress, issues, and changes
- Plan, organize, and prioritize all on-site work within project scope
- Train, mentor, and delegate tasks to Lead Hands, Operators, and Labourers
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and tools needed for the job
- Ensure all team members follow company policies and Alberta OHS safety requirements
- Complete required documentation in Nektar
- Conduct FLHAs, Toolbox Talks, and Site Inspections
- Participate in incident and accident investigations
- Communicate staffing needs and performance concerns to HR and the Superintendent
- Load, haul, and unload equipment as needed
- Represent Cutting Edge professionally with clients and inspectors
- Minimum 2+ years experience running crews
- Minimum 3+ years landscaping experience
- Organized, adaptable, and strong decision-maker
- Clear communicator and team motivator
- Problem-solver with leadership presence
- Ability to interpret project drawings and plans
- Efficiently uses budgeted field hours
- Skilled equipment operator with ability to train others
- Standard First Aid with CPR
- Clean driving abstract
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
